Onboarding Specialist
About the role
The Onboarding Specialist on the Mid-Market Client Success team at Cvent is responsible for guiding new customers in the use of the Cvent platform. This role involves making a strong first impression, translating customer needs into a tailored onboarding process, initiating a successful customer journey, and driving platform adoption.
Responsibilities
- Learn and communicate the goals and objectives of new customers
- Ensure customers complete required product trainings
- Host personalized strategy calls for new Cvent users
- Provide detailed product knowledge both on the phone and via email
- Drive platform adoption and offer best practice tips
- Complete Post Event Customer Success Reviews
- Lead re-onboarding for existing customers as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials
- Customer centricity and empathy - must be able to quickly understand customer needs
- Experience working with frustrated customers and de-escalating urgent and high priority problems
- Demonstrated flexibility and experience navigating environments with lots of ambiguity
- A passion for leading and helping others and a blend of technical and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, time management, and task prioritization skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Qualifications
This role requires a Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials. Candidates should have experience working with frustrated customers and de-escalating urgent and high priority problems. Demonstrated flexibility and experience navigating environments with lots of ambiguity are also essential. A passion for leading and helping others, along with a blend of technical and interpersonal skills, is highly valued. Attention to detail, time management, and task prioritization skills are crucial. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are necessary.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 annually.
Schedule
The role is full-time and will start in March 2026.
