Responsibilities

Included but not limited to:

  • Operates computer to accurately open accounts, new loans, access account information, and generally update member account information.
  • Actively markets and cross-sells current and new products and services of the credit union and attempts to educate members on the benefits and features of new, as well as existing services.
  • Follows up referral leads by contacting members and working a consistent pipeline daily to generate new business for the Credit Union.
  • Affords support to the loan department for online member/non-member loan application approvals to improve turnaround time for loan production and closing.
  • Participates in call back nights. Contacts members for loan closing, negative shares, marketing campaign, or other credit union related matters as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three years related experience and/or training
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Highly motivated, goal oriented
  • Excellent member service skills
  • Good communicator
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Outbound sales calling experience
  • FICEP Certification
  • Notary Public
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)

Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
