On-site Oxford Collection Corporate Director of Marketing
This is an on-site position working out of our Corporate office location in Bend, Oregon. Candidates should live in or be willing to relocate to this location to be considered.
About the Role
The Director of Marketing is the strategic leader responsible for developing and executing the company’s comprehensive marketing vision. This role guides all aspects of brand positioning, digital and traditional marketing, creative direction, and campaign execution to strengthen performance across the Oxford Collection of hotels. With a focus on driving revenue growth, enhancing market presence, and supporting organizational goals, the Director leads the marketing team, aligns initiatives across departments, and ensures all marketing efforts reflect the company’s standards, culture, and commitment to exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Perform all duties with exceptional caring and genuine guest service, upholding Oxford Collection of hotels standards and culture.
- Marketing Management (65%):
- Develop and deliver the marketing strategy.
- Manage multiple projects within the marketing organization.
- Oversee execution of the strategy and manage the marketing budget.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management and Sales to achieve revenue goals.
- Oversee business mix and segmentation targeting strategy.
- Monitor market performance and customer feedback; recommend changes to achieve goals.
- Direct and oversee social media presence to increase brand visibility and traffic.
- Guide the direction of the different brands.
- Determine KPIs and identify measurements for reporting.
- Design marketing campaigns around key revenue targets.
- Direct, collaborate, and review digital marketing strategy across multiple channels.
- Schedule and implement yearly campaigns.
- Manage the content and creativity of the marketing team.
- Evaluate market segmentation performance and recommend initiatives to support revenue objectives.
- Oversee and collaborate on keyword strategy for SEO.
- Lead brand development and rebranding strategy.
- Develop constant creative content to grow the company’s footprint.
- Oversee and manage trademarks for the Oxford Collection of hotels.
- Employee Development and Management (35%):
- Recruit, onboard, and retain a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and accountable work environment.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and professional development.
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations.
- Offer constructive feedback and create individualized development plans.
- Oversee project management within the department, ensuring priorities, deliverables, and timelines are met.
- Guide the team through change initiatives and process improvements.
Requirements
- Four-year college degree in marketing preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in Marketing with project and employee management responsibilities.
- Hospitality marketing experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to design and execute high-impact campaigns with measurable results.
- Strong traditional and digital marketing experience.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
- Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company driving standards.
- Must have strong computer skills.
- Must have excellent organization and time management skills.
- Must be able to travel to hotel properties.
Physical Requirements
- Long hours sometimes required, including nights, evenings, and weekends.
- Occasional overnight travel is required.
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally.
- Must be able to work indoors or outside.
- Must be able to stand on feet throughout the day.
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
- Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis.
- Must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat).
- Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat).
