On- Site Maintenance Tech - Ocean City, MD

About the role

Sentry Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for one of our associations in Ocean City, MD. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the quality completion of all maintenance tasks and projects at their assigned association. This position requires interaction with homeowners, vendors, HOA community managers, and the Association Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of building systems, such as light irrigation repairs, drywall patching, HVAC drain line cleaning, and mechanical systems.
• Address repair requests from residents and promptly resolve issues related to common areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, including outdoor amenities such as pools.
• Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous maintenance experience.
• Professional, organized, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and walk up to 4 hours per day.
• Ability to safely bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in variable weather conditions.
• General computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
