Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, analysis, testing, and recording of machine samples as directed.
- Perform bio-stick dip tests of all machine sumps and central systems.
- Assist in the maintenance of coolant filters, washers, paint systems, air handling systems, etc., for sump changes and cleaning to keep fluids within proper limits under the direction of the Site Manager.
- Participate in the addition of chemicals, including coolants, greases, oils, lubricants, cleaners, and biocides as directed by site staff.
- Enter data for daily results into site software program.
- Assist in properly maintaining tools and utility equipment such as pumps, sump suckers, coolant dispensers, etc., in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist in routine maintenance on all equipment and fluid systems, including product additions, filter changes, and sump cleaning as directed.
- Assist in the disposal of contaminated articles (e.g., pails, gloves, samples) in accordance with prescribed measures, including waste management and recycling initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining and calibrating all laboratory equipment, such as scales, pH meters, glassware, and incubators, in accordance with the site control plan.
- Perform general cleaning of oil storage rooms, laboratory, equipment, and areas of the production floor (e.g., chipping, mopping, sweeping, emptying trash).
- Support site staff with general organization initiatives (inventory, storage rooms, labeling, etc.).
- Comply with all company policies, including Code of Conduct and expense reporting.
- Ownership of individual development plan (IDP) as agreed upon with direct line manager.
- Maintain the highest EH&S (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards at all sites visited.
Work Environment
- Daily work onsite at customer sites/laboratories.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma (required).
- 1 year of manufacturing experience.
