On-Site Customer Tech Copier Support

About the role

Pacific Office Automation is seeking an On-Site Customer Tech Support to join our Remote MFP Support team at a local office in Oregon, Idaho, Washington, or Utah. We are looking for problem solvers who are detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking. While we prefer experienced technicians, we are willing to train the right person for entry-level roles.

Responsibilities

• Use software to remotely access client computers to troubleshoot and diagnose network connectivity with multi-functional devices such as copiers and scanners.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, etc., to gather information for troubleshooting.
• Work closely with sales representatives, customers, and field technicians to resolve network-related problems.
• Be part of a dynamic team focused on providing the highest level of customer success.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience working with TCP-IP Networking.
• Some computer knowledge mixed with a willingness and capability to learn.
• Natural problem-solving ability combined with a passion for customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of or experience working with networking protocols and concepts (VPN, Routing, Ports, TCP/IP, Network analysis tools).
• Network+ or A+ Certifications a plus.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience providing technical support for Windows 10, server versions, MAC OS, and other mainstream applications.

Pay

• Seattle Area: $21.30–$29.00/hour
• Tacoma & Bellingham Areas: $20.00–$27.00/hour
• Tri-Cities Area: $20.00–$25.00/hour
