About the role
The Account Manager is responsible for meeting individual sales objectives through selling, merchandising, servicing, and successful completion of other related sales duties.
Responsibilities
- Maximize sales and distribution of all Atlanta Beverage Company products and packages within each account through established Company sales methods.
- Call on assigned accounts as scheduled.
- Ensure all alcohol and non-alcohol products are merchandised effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrate effective communication methods.
- Effectively utilize analytical tools to identify opportunities and make recommendations to increase sales.
- Demonstrate effective customer service skills.
- Develop and implement account plans and objectives.
- Track and measure sales goals.
- Maintain up-to-date account profiles, including tracking and measuring.
- Work with supplier representatives as scheduled and needed to drive business.
- Maintain and encourage an open line of communication with both internal and external customers.
- Interact with external and internal customers in a manner conducive to continued positive relationships.
- Demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to cooperate while working with others or in place of others as necessary.
- Maintain security and proper maintenance of company vehicles, equipment, cameras, and other related “selling tools”.
- Accurately perform any other duties as assigned to ensure an efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma; some college preferred.
- A minimum of three years experience in the alcohol beverage industry preferred.
- Two years sales experience preferred.
- Clear motor vehicle record for the past three years.
- Valid driver's license.

- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
- Ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative.
