About the role
A Field Sales Executive at Avnet is responsible for driving revenue and margin growth through strategic customer relationships. This role involves identifying customer needs, aligning them with Avnet’s value proposition, and developing comprehensive business plans to ensure mutual success.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer interactions, focusing on high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop strong strategic relationships with customers to understand and leverage their business goals, growth strategies, and profit drivers.
- Provide leadership and guidance in critical customer planning and engagement, integrating Avnet’s services, programs, and supplier partnerships.
- Conduct regular business reviews to track progress towards revenue and growth goals, owning the execution of the business plan.
- Maintain and monitor pipeline and metrics for assigned customers, performing analysis and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Support supplier strategies by aligning solutions with customer needs to maximize profitable growth and customer expansion.
- Prioritize customers and opportunities with the greatest potential for success, closely managing profitability by minimizing profit leaks and maximizing gross profit.
Job Level Specifications
This role requires developing expertise in business, financials, products/services, the market, or account needs. It expands knowledge of the industry, markets, and sales processes, broadening sales capabilities. It involves working with moderately complex territory/assigned accounts, products/services, sales, or account management processes.
Education and Certification(s)
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
Pay and Benefits
$115,000 - $140,000 total compensation range. Actual compensation offered will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, geographic location, candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
