On-Campus Adjunct Instructor - Hospitality

About the role

This position is based in Manchester, NH.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses as scheduled and develop course syllabi
  • Facilitate class discussions
  • Grade assignments
  • Use the university's Brightspace learning management system for course delivery and communication with students
  • Collaborate with full-time faculty members to ensure consistency in curriculum
  • Contribute to program assessment efforts

Requirements

  • Terminal degree (PhD or DBA) in Business Administration or a related field; or a Master's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Teaching experience preferred

Qualifications

  • Passionate about delivering high-quality instruction
  • Ability to inspire student engagement
  • Experience in assessing learning in meaningful ways that align with program outcomes

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

Pay

The standard compensation for courses is $2,800 - $3,400 per 16-week undergraduate or graduate course. Actual pay is determined at the time of course assignment based on discipline.
