About the role
Lincoln Land Community College is seeking part-time instructors to teach Hospitality classes such as customer service, financial management, and beverage management at the main campus in Springfield. Classes are offered both during the day and in the evening.
Responsibilities
- Teach Hospitality courses including customer service, financial management, and beverage management.
- Receive one paid absence per class, per semester.
- Free access to the LLCC Fitness Center during available hours.
- Travel stipend if commuting more than twenty miles to campus.
- Tuition waiver benefit for adjunct faculty and their dependents under the age of 22.
- Participate in the State Universities Retirement System (SURS).
Qualifications
Adjuncts must have relevant industry experience and a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.
