About the role
This is an on-call position. Provides food service, custodial, grounds maintenance, general labor or other main support on an on-call basis.
Responsibilities
- Works Monday through Friday, 5am - 9am.
- Guaranteed 20 hours weekly at $15.00-$16.00 per hour.
- Engages in high performing, leading edge practices, using superior cleaning methods, equipment, and standards.
- Performs cleaning and maintenance activities; understands and gives verbal or written instructions.
- Reads chemical, biological, or radioactive warning signs.
- Removes snow with shovel or snow blower.
- Retains training information required for custodial methods, equipment, and products.
- Works with student employees and communicates and interacts with the University community.
- Serves as a liaison with the Department of Public Safety.
- Maintains product inventory.
- Makes independent decisions to accomplish acceptable cleaning standards using appropriate methods, products, and equipment.
