Service Maintenance

About the role

Assist the Parts & Service department with maintenance and detailing duties. Responsibilities include but not limited to efficiently cleaning new and used customer and dealer owned equipment (includes the exterior and interior of the equipment), taking the utmost care in producing a professional finished product, assisting in unloading trucks and reporting damages or shortages in shipment, assisting in lot maintenance and moving equipment for the Sales Department, maintaining a clean work area and following all safety practices of the organization when completing work assignments, maintaining company vehicles, inventory, and tools in proper working condition, helping to maintain company vehicles, operating a forklift to transport parts, equipment and supplies for the dealership, and making customer deliveries of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Takes the utmost care in producing a professional finished product.
• Aids in unloading trucks and reporting damages or shortages in shipment.
• Aids in lot maintenance and moving equipment for the Sales Department.
• Maintains a clean work area and follows all safety practices of the organization when completing work assignments.
• Maintains company vehicles, inventory, and tools in proper working condition.
• Helps to maintain company vehicles.
• Operates a forklift to transport parts, equipment and supplies for the dealership.
• May be required to make customer deliveries of equipment.

• Team-oriented, flexible, and effective communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift at least 75-pounds.
• Travel as needed.
• Workshop and outside setting.
• Repetitive bending and/or kneeling.
