Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.
- Provide knowledgeable guidance on menu and beverage selections.
- Accurately take and communicate food and beverage orders to kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently and with attention to detail.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables and service stations throughout events.
- Anticipate guest needs and address requests or concerns promptly.
- Handle payments accurately and follow proper cash and credit card procedures when applicable (Micros experience).
- Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas.
- Follow venue-specific service guidelines, safety procedures, and hospitality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow staff members, kitchen teams, and event management.
Qualifications
- Must be able to travel to East End locations, including the Hamptons and Montauk.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining banquet service or banquet bartending preferred.
- Professional appearance, attitude, and communication skills required.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and carry trays or plates as needed.
