On-Call Registered Nurse (RN)

About the role

Hospice of the West is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care and support to hospice patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Respond to a variety of patient needs, from urgent to routine.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards.
• Support patients' families by sharing knowledge and expertise, guiding, and supporting them in caring for their terminally ill loved ones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting.
• Hospice experience a plus.
• Computer proficiency in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification if required by state.

Pay

The average pay range for this role is $80,000 - $93,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position.
