On Call - Occupational Programs Lab Technician (Applicant Pool)

Job Duties

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of lab equipment and troubleshoots equipment to resolve issues in a timely fashion.

Required Qualifications

• A high school graduate with some college experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• An associate degree in science or applied science.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is often required to reach with hands and arms; walk; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee may occasionally lift up to 30 lbs., seldom 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Salary

$14-17/hour depending on experience

Work Hours

Daytime hours: TBD; 20-25 hours/week, some weekends required for special events
