On-Call Massage Therapist

About the role

As an On‑Call Massage Therapist at Suncadia's Glade Spring Spa, you'll focus on providing an exceptional spa experience that exceeds the expectations of our guests. You'll perform massage and body treatments and provide personal attention to each guest.

Suncadia is a 6,400‑acre mountain resort community on the sunny side of the Cascades. It offers year‑round opportunities to explore, unwind, and connect, with 40+ miles of trails, championship golf, a luxury spa, inspired dining, and direct access to the Wenatchee National Forest. The resort fosters a true sense of place and belonging for residents, guests, and the community.

Pay

$17.13 per hour plus commissions.

Schedule

Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests.
• Provide professional skin‑care treatment to every guest that utilizes the spa.
• Provide information to guests about treatments and services, and demonstrate when necessary.
• Follow all procedures and guidelines in performing skincare and hair‑removal services, including proper sterilization, draping policy, pre‑screening for contraindications, and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Promote a regimen program to clients for maximum benefit from their skincare treatments at home.
• Promote and champion resort culture and spa guiding principles.
• Effectively deal with internal and external guests, using patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect factual information, and resolve conflict.
• Seek continued self‑development opportunities.
• Assist in the cleanliness and maintenance of the spa.
• Assist as needed at the Spa concierge desk.
• Attend department and property meetings.
• Proactively identify potential guest issues.
• Monitor guest satisfaction processes, respond to guest concerns and inquiries.
• Continue training in new techniques and products.
• Promote and sell all massage and body products.
• Organize all product/equipment in individual workstations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a high‑quality spa.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Valid Washington state massage therapy license.
• Industry certifications a plus.
• CPR/First aid certification highly desirable.
• Proficient in all facets of proper massage therapy, including anatomy and physiology, guest privacy, and overall wellness.
