On Call Employee

American Greetings is recruiting Customer Experience Specialists for its Creative Studios location in Westlake, Ohio. The role is temporary (October – February) and offers a flexible hybrid work model, with on‑site attendance at Creative Studios on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Provide first‑contact resolution with strong written and verbal communication.
• Resolve problems by clarifying issues, researching solutions, implementing fixes, and escalating unresolved matters.
• Fulfill requests by clarifying information and completing transactions.
• Capture all details from customer interactions in American Greetings’ database tools.
• Maintain equipment by following established procedures and reporting malfunctions promptly.
• Assist customers with account maintenance and demonstrate basic account functionality on mobile and desktop platforms.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Computer/Internet proficiency.
• Professional and courteous demeanor with customers at all times.
• Availability to work holidays and weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Pay

Hourly rate: $19.50. Paid training is provided.

Schedule

Work hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Employees must work at least two Saturdays per month, with one weekday off. Hybrid model includes remote work and on‑site attendance at Creative Studios on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
