On-Call CNA or PCA Administrative Float Field Support Gwinnett County
Azalea Home Care is seeking a dependable, experienced, and flexible CNA/PCA to join our team as an On-Call CNA/PCA / Administrative Float. This hybrid position combines administrative office support with direct-care field coverage and is ideal for someone who is comfortable transitioning between office responsibilities and direct client care.
Schedule & On-Call Requirements
- On-call availability Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
- Receive a float/on-call fee for maintaining required availability.
- Must be prepared to report to a client assignment within 1 hour of being called in.
- When called into the field, you will receive your full applicable hourly rate for all hours worked in the field.
- When not needed for field coverage, you will assist with administrative duties in the office.
- On-call availability is a required part of this position.
Responsibilities
Field Support
- Provide CNA/PCA services when coverage is needed for client cases.
- Fill in for call-outs, open shifts, and other PRN coverage needs.
- Provide safe, professional, and compassionate care in accordance with client care plans.
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
- Follow all agency policies, procedures, and care standards.
Administrative Support
- Perform routine administrative and general office duties.
- Assist with scheduling and staffing needs.
- Assist with documentation, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
- Provide general support to the administrative and care coordination teams.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of CNA or PCA experience.
- Current CNA/PCA credentials, as applicable.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Current full-coverage auto insurance.
- Current TB skin test.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Ability to report to client assignments within 1 hour of notification.
- Must be available for the required Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM on-call schedule.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
