On Call Child Care Provider

About the role

The On Call Child Care Provider supports the Family Engagement team by providing childcare at monthly meetings, family events and occasional trainings.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Family Engagement team by providing childcare at monthly meetings, family events and occasional trainings.
• Work cooperatively with staff members and community members from various backgrounds.
• Maintain confidentiality of information with regards to our programs, children, and families.
• Assist in implementing activities that encourage the advancement of children's physical, intellectual and social-emotional competence.
• Attend appropriate staff meetings and training sessions as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Experience working with children birth to 5 years of age preferred.
• Ability To Establish and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
• Assist with mealtime routines.
• Demonstrate professional and effective written and verbal communication skills; receive information and feedback in an understanding manner; use good judgement.

Pay

The hourly wage for this position is 17.13.

Schedule

This role is on call, with no guaranteed hours per week. This position is non-benefitted and scheduled shifts are typically Monday through Friday primarily during evening hours. We require that all our Child Care Providers work at least one shift a quarter to remain an active employee.
