About the role
Provides spiritual and pastoral support to patients, family members, visitors, and employees and provides supportive services to the community.
Responsibilities
- Provides spiritual care and counseling to patients, families and visitors, hospital staff and community.
- Provides appropriate assistance to patients, family members.
- Conducts worship services.
Qualifications
- Education: Masters degree in Theology, Divinity, Religion, Counseling, or related field
- Required Work Experience: 2 years of pastoral experience for on call
- Required: 4 years of Clinical Pastoral Education
- Eccelsiastical endorsement from the appropriate denomination
- Preferred: Ordination
- Preferred: Previous hospital experience
- Licenses and Certifications: Certification or certification eligible by pastoral care organization preferred
