About the Role

A caregiver in this position works PRN hours and will provide coverage after hour on call requests for Cleveland Clinic Florida Hospitals. This position is on call from 4:00pm to 8:00am from Monday through Friday and 8:00am to 8:00am Saturday through Monday morning.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and consultation for physicians, nurses and other caregivers.
• Provide spiritual care and counseling for patients, families and caregivers of all faith groups, ages and conditions.
• Foster spiritual resources for healing.

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of a minimum of four (4) units of Clinical Pastoral Education
• Offset: Bachelor's degree, 3 years of ministry experience & satisfactory completion of one (1) or two (2) units of Clinical Pastoral Education with expectation to get four (4) CPEs within two (2) years of hire
• Credentialing, certification, or eligibility within two (2) years by a certifying organization or certification as an Association of Clinical Pastor Education (ACPE) educator
• One (1) year of ministry experience

Qualifications

• Master’s degree of Divinity or equivalent
• Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to climb stairs, pull, push and facilitate movement of the patient. Must have normal or correctable vision and hearing to be able to hear normal conversations.
