Key Responsibilities
- Identify and record areas of archeological potential, archaeological sites, and traditional use sites.
- Work closely with a Field Director/Supervisor to make technical recommendations for cultural resources management.
- Collect field data.
- Participate in field reconnaissance surveys (linear and block type).
- Assist in archaeological impact assessments.
- Excavate.
- Construction Monitoring.
Capabilities and Credentials
- Interest in Cultural Resource Management.
- Dedicated to following and promoting a strong safety culture.
- Able to travel and work away from home.
- A valid California driver’s license is required.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology is required.
- At least two years of previous monitoring experience is preferred.
- Participation in an archaeological field school is seen as an asset.
Pay and Benefits
This position offers a pay range of $57,800.00 - $83,700.00 annually.
