OMP Techno-Functional Solution Architect

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and integrate robust, scalable OMP solutions for complex supply chain environments.
• Lead end-to-end configuration, integration, and optimization of OMP systems.
• Write and optimize complex OPAL scripts, macros, and custom user actions for advanced technical configuration.
• Own and optimize OMP data models, control tables, and workbooks, resolving system performance issues proactively.
• Develop seamless integration strategies between OMP and external ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) ensuring data integrity.
• Ensure solutions accommodate business growth and evolving supply chain models without technical debt.
• Evaluate and select appropriate optimization engines, solvers, and heuristics for production scheduling and S&OP challenges.
• Define and enforce best practices and documentation standards within the global OMP implementation team.
• Act as the primary liaison between executive business leaders, planning teams, and IT developers.

Required Experience & Skills

• 8+ years in supply chain technology, with at least 4 years as Lead/Senior Architect in OMP environments.
• Advanced programming and data skills (OPAL, SQL; Python/C++ preferred).
• Demonstrated experience integrating OMP with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
• Led at least two full-lifecycle, global OMP implementations.
• Deep functional knowledge of supply chain planning (APICS/ASCM, S&OP, Demand Sensing, detailed finite scheduling).
• Bachelor's or Master's in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
