Enterprise Solution Architect
About the role
The organization seeks an Enterprise Solution Architect to design end-to-end solution architectures for complex banking products and platforms. The role involves ensuring scalability, security, regulatory compliance, and resiliency.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solution architectures for banking products and platforms.
- Lead the design and governance of RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, microservices, and integration patterns.
- Develop enterprise canonical models, reusable frameworks, and reference architectures.
- Architect cloud-native applications using modern platforms.
- Identify and design AI/ML use cases and define architecture patterns for responsible AI.
- Integrate AI capabilities into APIs and enterprise applications.
- Partner with product owners and business leaders to translate strategic goals into technical roadmaps.
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers.
- Ensure solutions adhere to banking security and regulatory requirements (e.g., FFIEC, PCI-DSS, SOX).
- Build and maintain architecture diagrams, API catalogs, and design artifacts.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of retail, commercial, or wealth banking platforms and business processes.
- Strong expertise in API design (REST, GraphQL), microservices, integration frameworks, and event-streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka).
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud architectures and container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Experience with AI/ML platforms, MLOps frameworks, model deployment techniques, or intelligent automation solutions.
- Proficiency with data architecture concepts, including data modeling, canonical models, data governance, and metadata management.
- Knowledge of Soap/Rest Webservices.
- Experience with Oracle SQL / PLSQL.
Other Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience with banking core systems, payments, onboarding/KYC, lending, or risk management platforms.
- Familiarity with enterprise API gateways, service meshes, and identity/authorization frameworks (OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Exposure to generative AI, LLM integration, or enterprise AI platforms.
- Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, or AI/ML specializations.
