OMM Teacher Assistant
Responsibilities
- Review the lecture material for the first-year students and be able to assist the students with new techniques based on the lecture material.
- Manage and do preparation for individual and/or group sessions.
- Recognize and utilize study techniques within the different learning styles and student preferences.
- Create a professional and welcoming environment by modeling respect for students’ diverse cultures, language skills, and experiences.
- Utilize feedback and reflection to improve practice.
- Provide direct assistance in the use of equipment, learning objects, and materials needed for student success.
Qualifications
- Must be 2nd year student.
- Student must be in good standing and passing all classes.

- Excellent written and verbal communication and comprehension skills.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of privileged information.
- Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Able to manage professional and interpersonal relationships and interact effectively with diverse members of the institutional community and outside constituencies.
