Oliver Wyman’s Private Equity team in North America is seeking consultants to support rapid growth. The team collaborates with private equity investors across the full deal lifecycle—from opportunity identification through due diligence and post-transaction value realization. Oliver Wyman employs a multi-specialist approach, assembling teams with deep industry and functional expertise, proprietary methodologies, and a global network to deliver differentiated results for clients. The team has completed hundreds of engagements for leading private equity firms across North America, Europe, the Middle East, China, and Southeast Asia, creating sustainable shareholder value.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry- and discipline-specific expertise to amplify impact and shape client outcomes.
• Focus on Aerospace & Defense, with a particular emphasis on commercial aerospace, serving private equity clients.
• Leverage specialized knowledge to deliver differentiated results on deals and post-transaction value realization.

Requirements

• Professional experience with exposure to commercial and operational due diligence in a management consulting firm.
• Experience working within or across industries in Private Equity.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with customer research techniques (e.g., interviews, surveys, focus groups).
• Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrated analytical skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings.
• Fluency in English.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a strong academic program.
• Proactive initiative-taker who seeks opportunities to learn and apply skills.
• Creativity and novel problem-solving ability to address complex client challenges.
• Aptitude for analytical work, including extracting insights from large datasets and identifying key issues in complex problems.
• Willingness to collaborate effectively with a high-performing team.
