About the Role
The position is located in the Tifton Area and is part of the CAES-Horticulture Department at the University of Georgia.
Responsibilities
Conduct research under the supervision of a faculty member in the field of Horticulture.
Participate in lab and field experiments, data collection, and analysis.
Prepare and present research findings at departmental meetings and conferences.
Assist with grant writing and proposal development.
Collaborate with other researchers and students within the department and across campus.
Requirements
PhD in Horticulture or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
Strong background in plant biology, genetics, or related areas.
Experience with greenhouse management and crop production techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
