About the Role

The position is located in the Tifton Area and is part of the CAES-Horticulture Department at the University of Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research under the supervision of a faculty member in the field of Horticulture.

  • Participate in lab and field experiments, data collection, and analysis.

  • Prepare and present research findings at departmental meetings and conferences.

  • Assist with grant writing and proposal development.

  • Collaborate with other researchers and students within the department and across campus.

Requirements

  • PhD in Horticulture or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

  • Strong background in plant biology, genetics, or related areas.

  • Experience with greenhouse management and crop production techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
