About the role

We're looking for a seasoned commercial handyman who knows how to work on a building and knows how to get things done. You've been doing this for 10 years or more. You know your way around a job site. You can walk into a building, look at a problem, figure it out, and fix it without somebody holding your hand.

The work is steady year-round Monday–Friday with one Saturday per month.

Responsibilities

• Daily tasks may include fixing doors, repairing drywall, handling punch-list or remodeling projects
• Commercial carpentry
• Doors and hardware
• Drywall and painting
• Flooring and tile
• Ceiling repairs
• Light plumbing
• Light electrical
• Trim and finish work
• Cabinets and fixtures
• General building repairs
• Tenant repairs and punch-list work
• Small remodeling projects

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in commercial construction, maintenance, remodeling, or handyman work
• Ability to work safely and keep the job clean
• Valid driver's license and live in Northern Virginia

Skills

You must have several trades under your belt. You don't have to know everything, but you better know how to figure things out.

Pay
