Responsibilities

• Gas Engine Drivability Technician: Specialized diagnostic expert who focuses on identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing complex drivability issues in Ford gasoline‑powered engines and their supporting electronic systems.
• Mobile Service Technician: Performs routine maintenance, minor recalls, reprograms, and small repairs in the field using a state‑of‑the‑art mobile service van.
• Used Car Technician: Works exclusively on dealership‑owned used vehicles for reconditioning, preparing them for sale on the used car lot or wholesale.
• Main Shop Technician: Handles retail, warranty, and ESP repairs of all types, including electronics, drive train, engines, transmissions, HVAC, and more.

Requirements

• Must be well‑versed and knowledgeable with Ford vehicles.
• Must know FDRS and IDS diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to accurately diagnose Ford‑specific gas engine drivability concerns and systems such as: check engine/wrench lights, evaporative emissions, electronic module and component diagnosis, complex and advanced electronics/engine management, ignition systems, gas fuel injection/fuel systems and operation, advanced networking, wire repair, module programming, mechanical repairs.
• Ability to work on a wide range of Ford vehicles from passenger cars to medium‑duty trucks.

Pay

• Gas Engine Drivability Technician: $35‑42+ per hour
• Mobile Service Technician: Starting pay up to $24/hour plus production bonuses
• Used Car Technician: Flat rate pay ranging from $23‑$27 per hour
• Main Shop Technician: Flat Rate Pay ranging from $23‑45+ per hour

Schedule

• Mobile Service Technician: M‑F, 7 am‑4 pm
• Used Car Technician: M‑F, 7 am‑4 pm or 8 am‑5 pm
• Main Shop Technician: M‑F, 7 am‑4 pm or 8 am‑5 pm
