Responsibilities
- Aids the crane operator in setting up equipment.
- Maintains the crane and its accessories.
- Applies proper rigging techniques for safe lifting.
- Safely secures equipment to the trailer.
- Completes and submits truck inspection reports.
- Reports mechanical issues to supervisors.
- Monitors and reports missing equipment.
- Performs routine maintenance on equipment.
- Cleans and maintains assigned vehicles.
- Prepares for the next day’s assignments.
- Reports to dispatcher after completing a job.
- Completes and submits payroll timesheets.
- Answers phone promptly.
- Reviews and updates crane manuals.
- Cleans and organizes shop and yard.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current state-issued CDL Class A Driver's License.
- 1-3 years of rigging and commercial driving experience.
