About the role

The Oiler/Rigger/Driver at Crane Services, Inc. (CSI) assists the Crane Operator in maintaining and operating heavy machinery. CSI is a leading company in the industry, serving the Rocky Mountains, Southwest, and Midwest regions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all activities comply with company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain daily activity and inspection paperwork.
• Report any concerns to the supervisor regarding personnel, equipment, clients, or work scope.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, daily, weekly, and monthly equipment inspections.
• Inspect sites for hazards affecting safety and efficiency.
• Lead or assist in morning tailgate discussions to ensure understanding of roles.
• Know and follow crane and manufacturer lubrication specifications.
• Assist the operator with maintenance tasks and crane movement.
• Keep equipment clean and in good condition.
• Perform minor repairs as directed.
• Give and understand hand signals.
• Inspect, grease, fuel, and maintain equipment to catch issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass a drug test, background check, and fit for duty test
• NCCCO Rigger I certification (preferred)
• OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
• CPR certification (preferred)

Working Environment

The employee may wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Exposure to extreme temperatures, fumes, or airborne particles is possible. Noise levels are moderate. Lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and/or pulling; climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant finger dexterity are required. The employee must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. The job requires obtaining a DOT Medical Certification and passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
