Oil Change Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Drain engine oil and replace oil filters; perform fluid flushes and top off vital vehicle fluids including transmission, power steering, brake, and windshield washer fluids.
• C Conduct multi-point safety inspections, checking air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, belts, hoses, and battery health.
• B Check and adjust tire pressure; inspect tires for wear, damage, or tread depth; perform basic tire rotations as needed.
• A Accurately document all services performed, parts used, and any additional maintenance issues discovered during inspection to report to the service writer/customer.
• E Safely operate oil dispensing systems, pneumatic tools, hand tools, and hydraulic vehicle lifts or service pits.
• F Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation. Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials such as used oil, oil filters, and automotive fluids in compliance with EPA and OSA regulations.
