Oil Change Service Advisor

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner.
• Ensure each customer is educated on Delta Sonic’s products and services.
• Listen actively and interact professionally with customers while providing service recommendations based on maintenance schedules and service requirements.
• Multitask with a sense of urgency to meet customer service expectations.
• Transact customer purchases.
• Maintain proper cash handling procedures.
• Follow all position-specific procedures.
• Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of shop premises.
• Cross-trained to work in the position of Oil Change Tech.

Requirements

• Hired into the entry-level position of Oil Change Technician.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license (preferred).
• Must have prior experience in automotive service writing, customer service, and/or sales.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing great customer service.
• Must have unwavering honesty and integrity, a courteous and professional demeanor, and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Must be a team player and willing to work in all weather conditions, both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Must be able to work with a sense of urgency, stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time, lift moderate amounts of weight, and work a flexible schedule.

Pay

• The pay rate for the Oil Change Technician position is $19.25 per hour, plus eligible commission.
• The pay rate for the Oil Change Service Advisor position is $19.25 per hour, plus eligible commission upon completion and certification of the required training.

Schedule

• Year-round schedule availability is required to be considered for employment.
