Oil Change and Tire Technician
About the role
As an Oil & Tire Technician, you'll perform preventative maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-offs, tire rotations, and balancing. This role works in all weather conditions. We're looking for team players with strong attendance, reliability, and communication skills.
Pay
Competitive starting base rate of $20/hr. paid weekly, with a $1/hr. increase after 90 days based on performance.

Schedule
6am-3:30pm, including availability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes by draining old engine oil, replacing oil filters, refilling new oil, and ensuring there are no leaks, adhering to manufacturer's specifications and established guidelines
- Conduct fluid top offs for transmission, power steering, brakes, coolant, and other essential components, adhering to manufacturer's specifications and established guidelines
- Render tire services such as mounting and dismounting, balancing, rotation, inspection, and other repairs as needed
- Ensure proper disposal of old tires
- Utilize automotive tools and equipment in a safe and effective manner, maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining services performed, and recommending additional maintenance or detailing options when necessary
- Keep abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to car washing, detailing, and lube services
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow, meet service timelines, and uphold the company's reputation for excellence
- Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and environmental regulations at all times
- Assist with other automotive service tasks as needed or assigned
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and the ability to drive
- Must be an energetic self-starter willing to work in all weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, rain, snow, and sleet
- Must be a team player, hardworking, honest, reliable, and timely
- Basic computer and math skills, tech-savvy with a smartphone
- Must be able to lift and move inventory items and other work-related items (up to 50 lbs.)
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move around vehicles for extended periods
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry developments
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Tire Technician with exposure to various makes and models of vehicles
- Prior experience as an Oil Change and Lube Technician, preferably servicing fleet or in a quick lube environment
- Experience working in the elements (e.g., construction, HVAC)
