OIE Planner, Senior
About the role
As a defense mission professional, you will shape how information is leveraged across joint and combined operations by integrating information-focused effects into planning efforts spanning all operational phases. You will examine national-level and Department of Defense policies to identify gaps, generate feasible alternatives, and recommend strategies that strengthen decision-making at multiple echelons.
Responsibilities
- Shape information integration into joint planning processes
- Conduct mission analysis within the information environment
- Develop OIE concepts of support, annexes, and supporting plans aligned to commander objectives
- Synchronize information activities with campaign plans, orders, or targeting cycles
- Assess adversary or competitor information capabilities, patterns, and vulnerabilities
- Lead mission analysis efforts to identify opportunities to influence adversary decision cycles and inform operational design
- Embed within information-focused operational elements to provide senior-level insight and technical innovation
Requirements
- Experience integrating OIE or information-related capabilities into joint planning processes
- Experience conducting mission analysis within the information environment
- Experience developing concepts of support, annexes, or supporting plans tied to operational objectives
- Ability to assess adversary or competitor information capabilities, patterns, and vulnerabilities
- Ability to coordinate with information-related capabilities, including EW, PSYOP, MILDEC, Cyber, OPSEC, Space, or Intelligence teams
Qualifications
- Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience with information operations
- Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of experience with information operations
Skills
- Expertise in the information environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work in a high-tempo environment

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Employees may be required to work remotely, at a Booz Allen office, or at a customer facility, depending on the role and location.
