Responsibilities

• Demonstrates Clinical Competency
• Performs duties as assigned by physician or Registered Nurse
• Educates patient and family members appropriately
• Establishes caring/supportive relationships with patients and family
• Affirms environment of Emergency Room and makes changes as necessary
• Demonstrates professional accountability in all tasks and assignments

Requirements

• High School or GED
• State of Ohio Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-A) Certification
• Pre-hospital Experience
• 1 year as EMT-A

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

• High School or GED
• EMTA - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
