Summary
Full Time, Various Days, Hours (including nights and weekends)
Provides safe and efficient ground transportation for patients, caregivers, team members in the ambulances.
Maintains situational awareness during transports and communicates issues or concerns clearly to all those involved.
Required Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Required Work Experience
- Related Field - 2 years of experience
Description
- Ensures that all patients, passengers, and equipment are properly restrained and/or secured while the ambulance is in motion.
- Provides clear, concise and courteous radio communications.
- Completes a ground manifest for each ambulance transport.
- Inspects ambulances and documents findings on the ambulance checklist.
- Reports all issues or concerns regarding the ambulances to management.
- Safely operates the ambulances in close proximity to aircraft and other objects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
