About the Role
The Office of the General Counsel (“OGC”) Senior Analyst – Conflicts Reporting is an integral part of Latham’s Office of the General Counsel. This role will be responsible for preparing and analyzing all levels of conflicts reports regarding incoming attorneys and new client business using the firm’s conflicts database, Intapp Open, to be sent to attorneys, analysts, and other staff. This role will be located in either our Boston, Chicago, or New York office and may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex matters and run reports efficiently for new business and laterals, supporting project requests from the Ethics Committee, Client Intake Committee, the Deputy General Counsel, and others
- Assist with the training and mentoring of junior staff
- Communicate with attorneys and staff regarding conflicts check results and any missing information from the Intapp request form, validating requirements for the conflicts check
- Take a lead role in updating data in the conflicts database and conduct corporate research using internal and external information resources to confirm accuracy
- Obtain necessary guidance from attorneys or other Conflicts staff to properly evaluate conflicts checks (lateral candidate, potential client, potential adverse party, etc.)
- Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a legal or professional services environment
Skills
- Advanced ability to perceive and analyze problems and develop alternative strategies to solve them
- Professional interpersonal skills to effectively interface with attorneys, management, support staff, and outside contacts
- Strong organizational skills to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines

Pay
USD $95,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 per year
