About the role
The OGC Analyst – Conflicts Reporting is an integral part of Latham & Watkins' Office of the General Counsel team. This role prepares and analyzes standard conflicts reports regarding incoming attorneys and new client business, and conducts research to confirm the accuracy of information.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with attorneys and staff regarding conflict check results, missing information, and attorney requirements.
- Update data in conflicts databases and conduct corporate research.
- Analyze attorneys' responses to potential or actual conflicts.
- Conduct research on corporate entities using various databases and sources.
- Protect and maintain sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate advanced problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple deadlines.
- Work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Have a bachelor’s degree or at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services firm.
- Have at least 2 years of experience with Intapp Open software.
