About the role

The Office Technician (Typing) position is located at Folsom State Prison (FSP) in Represa, CA, within Sacramento County. Responsibilities

  • Organize, provide, implement, and maintain a program for scheduling patients' health care appointments in accordance with the Inmate Medical Services Policy and Procedures to ensure improved patient access to care in the correctional setting.
  • Provide a variety of clerical support functions under the direction of the Office Services Supervisor II.

Requirements

  • Either:
    • One year of experience in California state service performing clerical duties at a level of responsibility equivalent to that of an Office Assistant, Range B.
    • Two years of experience in typing and clerical work.
  • Education:
    • One year of general education being equivalent to three months of experience.
    • One year of education of a business or commercial nature being equivalent to six months of experience.
  • Pass the Office Technician (Typing) examination as outlined in the Exam Bulletin.
