About the role
The Division of Business Operations (DBO), Building Operations Center (BOC) is seeking an Office Technician (OT) Typing position.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate customers' facility needs and inspect areas of concern.
- Analyze options and present to management.
- Coordinate procurement of supplies and services.
- Process building tenant requests and Department of General Services (DGS) MAXIMO requests.
- Utilize MAXIMO to coordinate the completion of service requests with Facility Contacts, DGS, and contractors.
- Track and monitor the progress of requests and provide follow-up to customers as needed.
- Provide high-level customer service and maintain cooperative working relationships with facilities and divisional staff.
- Perform varied facility duties and ensure the integrity of documents and transactions.
Requirements
- Ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section).
- Obtain a valid typing certificate confirming ability to meet the minimum typing speed prior to being hired.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications as outlined in the Classification Specification.
- Unofficial transcript(s)/diploma for verification.
- U.S. equivalency report for foreign transcripts/degrees.
- Valid typing certificate.
