About the role
The Office Support Supervisor oversees operations, performance, and personnel engaged in office support work under general supervision from the Director of Human Services. This role develops and maintains a service-oriented approach, creatively supporting the quality initiatives of the department, county, and community. The position balances supervisory tasks with administrative work, including prioritizing tasks, managing supplies, coordinating with vendors, and assisting in budgeting. Collaboration with other supervisors and autonomous work are key aspects of this role.
Responsibilities
- Plans, supervises, evaluates, and directs overall operations and work activities of the department both strategically and on a day-to-day basis.
- Works with Human Resources to supervise and direct personnel functions, including recruiting, training, and performance management.
- Provides executive assistance to the Director of Human Services.
- Trains employees on policies, procedures, computer systems, and other office equipment as needed.
- Communicates with staff and informs them of changes to policies and procedures.
- Serves as the security liaison for state and court computer systems, administers related security access, facilitates technology investment decisions, manages key communication channels, and provides planning and policy input.
- Performs other duties of a comparable level or type, as required.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, office management, or a closely related field.
- 2 years of related experience to those listed under key responsibilities OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a standard background check.
Pay
$69,534.40 - $88,649.60 annually.
