Responsibilities
- Performs duties that are routine and clerical in nature.
- Processes new business applications and legal notices.
- Keeps accurate and current records of new business applications in designated systems that are accessible to others.
- Opens, sorts, and delivers daily mail to the appropriate person or department.
- Scans documents into designated systems that are accessible to others.
- Assembles and folds paperwork, stuffs envelopes, and prepares mailings.
- Weighs, meters, and prepares outgoing mail and packages for pick up or drop off at the post office.
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned to support the underwriting department and the office.
- Seeks relevant information and answers to key questions from defined sources.
- Applies knowledge to help solve problems.
- Contacts other internal departments and team members.
- Consistently acts according to our customer experience standards, including responding quickly, maintaining a positive attitude, building rapport, demonstrating empathy, managing the customer’s expectations, using the proper communication channel for the situation, and taking ownership to ensure the customer’s issue is resolved.
Requirements
- Good communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to pay attention to details.
- Proficient use of various core systems, office and computer equipment, and software packages.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Ideal candidates will also have:
- Ability to follow processes.
- Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Pay
The targeted hiring range for this role is $21.50 - $26.00 an hour. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience, as well as other factors such as the scope and location of the role.
