Office Support Specialist
About the role
Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level Office Support Specialist. This role focuses on providing administrative support, maintaining business records, coordinating schedules, assisting with documentation, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of office functions in a remote environment. Compensation
The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience, communication skills, organizational abilities, and client hiring needs. Additional compensation and benefits details will be shared during the hiring process.
What you'll do
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to internal teams
- Maintain digital files, records, and business documentation
- Schedule meetings and manage team calendars
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Respond to emails and route inquiries to appropriate departments
- Update internal databases and office systems
- Aid with document preparation and data organization
- Cook up virtual meetings and meeting materials
- Track assignments and administrative requests
- Support process improvements and office procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of company information
- Perform additional administrative and office support duties as assigned
We're looking for
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in administration, customer service, office support, or related roles
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- A high attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual collaboration tools
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- A professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
Nice to have
- Internship or entry-level administrative experience
