Key Responsibilities
- Handle general office duties including answering phones, managing emails, and greeting visitors.
- Maintain and update files, records, and databases while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies, and complete Requests for Information.
- Aid in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Scan, retrieve, and import documents within electronic medical record systems.
- Complete Requests for Information.
- Complete audits.
- Serve as a liaison between departments to support coordinated communication and completion of documentation.
- Provide data entry, transcribing, and specialized assistance as needed.
- Follow departmental procedures and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training in administrative/office support functions, procedures, and methods including the operation of personal computers and office equipment; or areas related to the programs and functions of the employing agency. OR Experience in customer service or public contact; or applying criteria/regulations; and/or performing administrative/office/secretarial support work including use of personal computers and office equipment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a medical or healthcare setting, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), medical documentation, and health information workflows. Strong data entry skills with the ability to handle confidential or sensitive information accurately. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

- Ability to: Maintain strict confidentiality, Interpret and apply procedures and regulations, Track documentation and meet deadlines, Coordinate across departments, Recommend solutions and improve workflow efficiency.
