About the Role

This role involves a mix of primary and secondary accounting and administrative responsibilities, supporting store operations, and collaborating with leadership and other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Enter invoices accurately into the accounting system.
  • Process, verify, and post payments, including checks, credit cards, and electronic transactions.
  • Prepare and record daily accounting entries related to sales transactions, cash, and deposits.
  • Safely handle, secure, and transport cash in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Correct invalid SKUs from the registers to maintain accurate inventory and records.
  • Generate and manage advanced shipping notice reporting.
  • Follow up on purchase orders with customers and vendors.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to all email and phone inquiries.
  • Assist with filing and other administrative or organizational tasks as needed.
  • Support various projects from leadership and other store departments.
  • Collaborate closely with the Office Leader, HR team, and Store Leadership teams.
  • Demonstrate strong multitasking, organizational, attention to detail, and internal communication skills.
  • Utilize Google Workspace tools effectively.
  • Perform basic calculations, including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Address problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
  • Proactively seek challenges and contribute solutions.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or related fields.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace tools.
  • Ability to perform basic calculations and handle standardized problem-solving.

Physical Requirements

  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible force frequently.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Primarily sedentary, involving sitting most of the time, with occasional walking or standing.
  • Follow all safety procedures to minimize the risk of injury.

Pay

Starting salary: $38,000–$41,000 annually.

Schedule

Typically Monday through Friday, with occasional nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
