Job Description
The position supports Primary Care as well as some onsite support of Cardiology services provided at this location. The role is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations, procedures, and resources to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Duties include:
- Managing patient flow
- Overseeing office operations
- Providing customer service
- Ensuring compliance with health insurance and billing/coding requirements
- Utilizing and optimizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) functionality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and/or appropriate certification preferred
- 3 years’ experience in a medical/surgical practice required
- Previous management/supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Epic experience preferred
- Strong communications skills and experience in a leading role required
- Ability to identify and implement quality and productivity improvements
- Knowledge and behaviors required to meet age-specific patient needs (e.g., Pediatrics, Adolescents, and Geriatrics) preferred
