We’re looking for an Office Manager Lead who thrives on excellence, accountability, and creating a high-performing workplace. At Dr. Tavel, a trusted name in eye care for over 80 years with 25+ locations across Indiana, you’ll lead your office as if it’s your own—driving results, fostering a positive culture, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Drive results through excellent service, team accountability, and a deep understanding of office metrics and performance dashboards.
- Collaborate with doctors to ensure patients receive the best care and the right products.
- Manage inventory, resolve issues quickly, and maintain brand standards.
- Contribute to a positive, professional office culture that brings out the best in your team.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced retail or healthcare environment.
- Optical experience, including troubleshooting glasses and guiding customers through lens options.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to set clear expectations and follow through.
- Thrives on structure, detail, and continuous improvement.
- High standards, integrity, and a commitment to team performance.
- Availability to work during office hours, including some Saturdays.
- Flexibility to travel to support other office locations when needed.
