Responsibilities
- Assist the Vice President and the Facilities Manager in maintaining a professional office environment.
- Answer the phones and provide customer service to the College community as it pertains to Facilities and Real Property Management.
- Maintain a professional office environment, including answering phones and providing customer service.
- Assign and manage work orders and dispatch personnel as necessary based on priority.
- Affiliate with facility rentals and special event logistics.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and assist in maintaining departmental budgets and records.
- Maintain all office files in a professional manner.
- Cook up, distribute, and order office supplies.
- Coordinate the calendar schedule of the Vice President and the Facilities Manager.
- Manage the College's transportation fleet, including buses and automobiles.
- Coordinate, perform, and assist with other areas to ensure the successful and professional operation of the Office of Facilities and Real Property Management.
- Contact contractors and vendors for bids, scheduling, and information.
- Under the direction of the Vice President, supervise student workers assigned to the department.
- Affiliate with the management of Title III and SAFRA projects and report.
Requirements
- High School education or equivalent.
- A minimum of three to five years of progressive secretarial, dispatch, or office management experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy in the areas of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other technologies.
