About the Role

The Office Manager helps maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming workplace at the Kennesaw home office location. This role supports daily office operations, facilities coordination, vendor communication, workplace readiness, physical access needs, and basic technology coordination to help ensure employees, visitors, and business partners have a safe, efficient, and positive office experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure daily readiness, including front-of-house operations, visitor coordination, workspace cleanliness, and conference room operability.
  • Support workplace readiness, including workstation setup, space planning, access needs, asset tracking, service requests, vendor coordination, and related onboarding/offboarding support.
  • Coordinate partner and vendor relationships related to office operations, including points of contact, scheduling, service coordination, quotes, and invoices.
  • Serve as a point of contact for landlords, building management, and preferred vendors by service type.
  • Coordinate routine building support and maintenance requests; track, follow up, and help resolve facility issues including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, janitorial, technical, and related service needs.
  • Participate in safety, regulatory, emergency preparedness, and disaster recovery assignments as appropriate.
  • Provide professional support to employees, leaders, visitors, and business partners while maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming office environment.
  • Maintain office goods and supplies, including paper, general office supplies, kitchen supplies, desk supplies, mail, deliveries, and replenishment coordination.
  • Coordinates employee events, activities, meetings, trainings, engagement initiatives, and other corporate related events.
  • Answers phones with a positive, helpful attitude and routes calls to the appropriate person.
  • Maintains common areas such as the lobby, break room, conference rooms, etc. to ensure they are clean, organized and adequately supplied.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, facilities management, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in office management, facilities coordination, administrative operations, or a similar workplace support role.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, service providers, building management, maintenance requests, contracts, schedules, quotes, and invoices.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Working knowledge of office operations, space planning, workstation readiness, inventory management, mail and delivery coordination, and general workplace services.
  • Comfort coordinating technology-enabled workplace needs, including access controls, AV systems, printers, telecom/network services, and employee workstation support in partnership with technology resources and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to provide responsive support to employees, leaders, visitors, vendors, and business partners.

Working Conditions

  • This position operates primarily in an office setting and requires regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, filing systems, AV equipment, and building access platforms.
  • The role includes regular interaction with employees, visitors, vendors, landlords, building management, and service providers.
  • The noise level is usually moderate.
  • Because this role supports daily office readiness, facilities coordination, and site support, regular on-site presence is required five days per week.
  • The organization will provide reasonable accommodations as required under the ADA.
